A full range of dental services for the entire family
Our team offers a full range of dental services, from routine check-ups and cleanings for all age groups, to restorative procedures that can provide you with the assurance that comes from possessing a beautiful, natural smile.
These services include:
Dr. Jayne will provide you with a thorough dental examination to determine the health of your teeth and gums. During this exam, you will learn about the various procedures available to treat any problems that you may have with your oral health.
We make certain that you are relaxed and comfortable during your teeth cleanings. Our highly skilled, gentle hygienists use an ultrasonic scaler to painlessly remove hardened tartar that can lead to gum disease. We also check your bite alignment and use Vizilite to screen for signs of oral cancer.
Dr. Jayne and our caring, competent staff enjoy working with patients of all ages. They are dedicated to helping your whole family keep their teeth and gums healthy. We start seeing children from the age of two on, starting with getting them used to the dental office and helping them create good dental habits for life.
We believe that a beautiful smile helps boost our patients’ confidence, allowing them to lead a more fulfilling life. Dr. Jayne has considerable experience with the procedures that provide excellent cosmetic results and improve flaws such as gaps, stains, chips and missing teeth.
A dental veneer is a thin piece of porcelain that is attached over an existing tooth (or teeth) to cover imperfections such as staining, chips and gaps. Veneers have provided our patients with terrific results in as little as two visits.
For quick fixes on chipped or cracked teeth, Dr. Jayne may choose dental bonding. She applies a tooth-colored resin, cures it with a special light and then sculpts the hardened material to create a natural-looking restoration.
We offer both in-office and take-home professional teeth whitening solutions. Office visits whiten teeth in less than an hour, while at-home whitening takes over 1-2 weeks.
It only takes two visits to get a beautiful smile with affordable, non-invasive Snap-On Smile. The custom-made removable arch fits directly over teeth to cover problems such as gaps, staining and missing teeth.
Porcelain crowns recreate the form and function of a damaged tooth by capping the entire external portion of the tooth down to the gum level. Dr. Jayne has the artistic touch to provide you with crowns that match your existing teeth and look completely natural.
A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges consist of a series of porcelain crowns that span a gap in the teeth. The outer crowns are adhered to adjacent teeth, called the abutment teeth, and these hold the bridge in place. Bridges made from porcelain fused to metal may be the best alternative for back molars that handle heavy chewing.
Invisalign can correct many problems with crooked teeth and bite alignment. The clear, virtually invisible aligners fit snugly and comfortably over teeth to gradually shift and straighten. Patients will visit our office about every two weeks to change their aligners until the desired results are achieved. Dr. Jayne is certified as an Invisalign Preferred Provider.
A dental implant can be used to replace a single tooth, replace multiple teeth, or to support dental bridges and dentures. A precisely engineered, bio-compatible titanium post is anchored into the jawbone to replace the root of the tooth, and a restoration is placed over the post to create fully functional teeth that look and feel completely natural.
Full-mouth reconstruction is a term for restoring a broken-down mouth or a mouth with all or many missing teeth to a healthy, functional and attractive condition through a variety of dental procedures. Dr. Jayne has extensive experience in this area of dentistry. She employs an assortment of methods, as well as offering conscious sedation to keep her patients comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedures.
We provide our patients with comfortable, natural-looking full and partial dentures. We can also place two or more implants to stabilize your dentures for more comfortable chewing and a better fit.
Patient comfort is a top priority for everyone at Dr. Jayne Dentistry. We offer soothing music, aromatherapy, neck pillows, blankets and noise-cancelling headphones to ensure our patients are relaxed and at ease throughout the entire treatment. For anxious patients, especially those getting more extensive treatment, Dr. Jayne provides oral sedation.
While we do our best to preserve your natural teeth, there are cases where a tooth simply can’t be salvaged. In these situations, we will gently extract the damaged tooth while keeping you as pain-free as possible. Patients often choose to be sedated during tooth extractions.
Headaches and jaw pain are sometimes induced by a TMJ disorder. A TMJ disorder can be caused by an injury to the jaw, a bite problem, or the clenching and grinding of the teeth. Dr. Jayne has successfully treated TMJ disorders with oral appliances.
Sleep apnea is a disorder characterized by pauses in breathing or shallow, infrequent breathing during sleep. This affliction is frequently accompanied by loud snoring and can lead to more serious health issues such as high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. Dr. Jayne treats mild to moderate forms of sleep apnea with a custom-fitted oral appliance that effectively keeps the airway open.
We understand that dental emergencies are not only unexpected, but can also lead to more serious conditions if not treated promptly. Should you have a dental emergency, you will be seen as quickly as possible on the same day you call for an appointment.
